No. Every plan includes the same complete Counterpoint software and features.

They are applications our own software team built to extend Counterpoint with capabilities the core system does not provide. Every plan includes three of them: the DataIQ AI Dashboard for analytics and forecasting, Alerts & Exception Notifications, and Data Management Tools for bulk product, cost and price updates.

Because we develop and maintain them ourselves, they are included with every Counterpoint Cloud plan at no additional cost and run only on POS Highway managed Azure hosting. They are not available from any other source.

Yes. Every Counterpoint Cloud plan includes the full DataIQ AI Dashboard, the same platform on every plan. DataIQ licenses are included by plan: 1 with Starter, 2 with Growth, 3 with Advanced and 4 with Enterprise, and licenses are counted per plan, not per workstation.

Additional DataIQ licenses are $99 per license per month. The platform covers dashboard and operations, inventory intelligence, financial visibility, AI decision support, customer and CRM insight, and alerts and reports.

Data Management Tools are built by POS Highway to speed up the biggest inventory jobs: adding new products and keeping cost, margin and price current across hundreds of items at once. They are included with every plan at no additional cost, with one license per plan so that database updates are made by a single senior manager and stay accurate.

Add New Items captures every product detail Counterpoint requires, including vendor, cost, margin, price and minimum and maximum stock levels, and loads the batch directly into your inventory.

Cost, Margin and Price Update works on items you already carry: update vendor cost, set your margin, calculate the new price and print product tags and shelf labels in one pass, so a supplier cost increase or a tariff change never catches your pricing behind.

Yes. Counterpoint Offline Ticket Entry lets you continue processing sales. When service returns, transactions synchronize with your main database.

Yes. Counterpoint pricing is per workstation, not per store. Two or more workstations can run two or more stores, and each store can have several inventory locations, such as sales floor, warehouse and yard, with no additional software charge.

As your business grows, simply add workstations software and cloud capacity to support more employees and locations. Your team continues using the same familiar Counterpoint system, minimizing disruption and the need for additional training.

Implementation, data migration, training and hardware are quoted separately from the Counterpoint software.

All Counterpoint Cloud plans are based on a three-year agreement. You can choose monthly billing or annual billing, and annual billing saves 10% on software licensing for the term of the agreement.

Yes. Counterpoint is also available as a perpetual license: a one-time payment instead of monthly software fees, starting at $1,190 per workstation, which can lower your long-term software cost.

You can run it on your own local server or on our managed Microsoft Azure cloud hosting, priced separately. The DataIQ AI Dashboard is available only with POS Highway managed Azure hosting. Your proposal covers software, implementation, hardware and support in one place.

Yes, around the clock. POS Highway network engineers monitor your Counterpoint cloud server 24/7 at no additional cost. Automated checks confirm it is healthy and responsive throughout the day, and every check is logged. In the rare event a server stops responding, it restarts within minutes, at any hour, so your team keeps selling.
